The head of the streets department and the project manager for the massive Spire project in our neighborhoods should be forced to take a bike or scooter ride throughout the city. Then and only then would they get an understanding of just how dangerous two-wheeled vehicle transportation is in this city. Those half-assed fixes from Spire’s contractors are a joke and crazy treacherous…lasting for months or years.
